Eagle Mountain Lake Marina Dining: Flight, The Anchor and Current Listings
Flight, which housed a wine, scotch, and cigar lounge above a marina bar at Harbor One, has closed. Its Yelp listing still carries the header "Try Our New Menu".
The changes at Harbor One and Lakeview Marina offer a look at how dining options on the lake have changed.
Flight opened in June 2015 on 1.75 acres of Boat Club Road frontage, the kind of visibility a restaurant on a country road usually doesn't get. It built an upstairs lounge for wine, scotch, and cigars, an outdoor stage for local musicians, and a deck built to catch the sunset over the water. For a stretch of years it was the answer to "where do we take people who are visiting the lake for the first time."
Flight's closure is reflected unevenly online: Yelp marks its listing as closed, while some search results and directory sites still list it as open and describe the cigar lounge and stage.
Lakeview Marina's dining space had been running as Sammy's on the Lake before it changed hands last year. The new tenant, The Anchor on Eagle Mountain Lake, opened its doors in late June 2025 under Dustin and Craig Bunney. The build-out added a second bar area, one upstairs and one down, along with more indoor seating than the space had before.
The Anchor's operators also run Blue Mound Cafe.
Harbor One Marina's website identifies its restaurant as The Spot, and a boat-slip booking site also lists The Spot, with burgers, seafood, happy hour, and live music most weekends. Another restaurant website describes a business at the same Boat Club Road address as The Lakehouse, with a live-edge cedar bar and cornhole on the patio. Some longtime lake regulars still call the building Flight, the name that was on the door for ten years.
The listings and local usage refer to the location by three restaurant names: The Spot, The Lakehouse, and Flight.

Taken together, these listings offer a snapshot of the dining options advertised across Eagle Mountain Lake's marinas this season.
Restaurants aren't the only thing that separates one dock from another this time of year. Late summer usually pulls the lake down before fall rain builds it back up, and that's exactly when the difference between ramps shows up. Twin Points Park has the deepest ramp on the lake and stays usable even when water levels drop, which is why it's the public launch point regulars default to once the water gets skinny elsewhere. Harbor One's ramp, according to the marina, tends to close when the lake runs low. Pelican Bay Ramp and Shady Grove Park round out the other public launch options, and worth checking before you tow anything out for a Saturday.
If you'd rather leave the boat at home entirely, Eagle Mountain Park sits on the east side of the lake with 400 acres of hiking and walking trails, managed by the Tarrant Regional Water District. It's the answer for a weekend that doesn't need a dock at all, just a place to walk before the heat sets in.
